Over 500 physically and mentally-challenged children, most of them without slippers, were forced to walk for over half-a-kilometre for a procession from VOC Grounds, Palayamkottai to participate in a welfare function held at Bishop Sargent School for the Mentally Retarded here on 27-Mar-25010 Saturday.
